Racers, just a quick PSA. If you have have a Difalco controller with our adjustable trigger pin (any controller built in the last 3-4 years) you should check and adjust it.

Pop the handle off and tighten the nyloc nut down to remove any sideways play against the oilites.

Just push sideways on the trigger, take the spring off so you can feel the play, and tighten until the play gets to a minimum without binding trigger.

This is important because .010" of play at the oilites works out to a lot more at the end of the wiper arm. This might cause the wiper button to loose tension and erratic operation.

I have noticed this lack of adjustment in repaired controllers and thought I should mention it.

While you have the handle off PLEASE clean the brake contact area's. Do this to maintain braking consistency.
