View Full Version : Thoughts on 3rd Eye Controller?

After a 20year hiatus from slot racing I've returned to the sport and am having a blast (this is my first OWH post).

I'm in the market for a new controller (I'm running wing cars 20's, 27's and 7's)

I've come across the 3rd Eye controllers and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or could recomend them.

Has anyone owned/tried a gold crown?

I've been using a 3rdEye for about 18 months. I purchased it specifically for scale racing, but it is equally satisfying for my huge wingcar program (that's two boxstock cars).

Howard Smith (13rdeyeguy.aol) is the owner of the company and very good to work with.

I've seen quite a few of the Mid-Atlantic Div I cobalt racers use the controller as well.

I'm very satisfied with the performance and the support.

By any chance do you know of a track that carry's 3rd eye in the CT, NY, area other than Port Jeff?? I just thought I'd ask before I made the trek out to LI.

Thanks Again!!

I'm living and racing down here in Maryland. Unfortunately I can't help you with that answer. Drop Howard and e-mail. I'm sure he can tell you of other tracks (near you) which sell 3rdeyes.

Good luck!

By the way, I posted an incorrect e-mail address for 3rdeye. It should read 13rdeyeguy@aol.com
