View Full Version : Looking for New PreBuilt old style wing car body(s)

I have an old Tony P brass and wire wing car that I've had since I was a kid. I've got it up and running again but I'd like to replace the body. The trouble is that the new wing bodies are so low, they interfere with the front wheels. Is there any chance of finding a source for new, already assembled bodies for this car? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Have your Track check with REH for some old Outisight Ferrari premounts from one of the suppliers from "Back Then". They should still have some.

Your distributor may also have some of the old MAC bodies that were pulled recently....

The Ferrari looks just like it did in 1972.....

I have about 14 differant bodies that were the "big-time" during the 80's and very early 90's. These bodies are great wing car styles for chassis that were much heavier and had bigger motor boxes and cans.

Both my 1978 World's Car and 87 Olympiad cars from Emsford, NY needed new bodies also. The car body I ran is no wear to be found in my brain...I will never remember. But the car will look very exact to those days.

The motor is an original Kieth Keeler with the chassis built for me by Gary "A".

If you would like to try a few of these bodies, or have an idea of what you want, give me a shout..

Try Parma Mohawk or O/S Vette. Used in the day and still available in premount. I think BOW has the old Camen molds. Might give them a call.

if you check the ebay there is a parma mohawk (6035159500) or a parma stealth (6035160408). Both are factory painted and should work for your project.

Thank you all for your help.

Rick, I'll head down your way later this week!!

Tony P. cars would have Outisight Ferrari Coupes on them, unless they were made before Outisight came around. If made before O/S, then go for a Lucas Matra. Those bodies are available from O/S in clear.

You gotta pic of chassis?

And before the Matra, a Dynamic Porsche, & before that a Lancer Porsche coupe.:)

Please keep pics to 640 pixels max - in consideration of those with dial-up access and/or smaller monitor size or big screen resolution.

Thanks for asking! :)
