When I enquired on the 1/32 board about finding a 1/24 chassis to mount car model bodies to (for use on my Carrera Exclusiv track) Prof.Fate suggested I post my question to you.

He said:

"As for doing other 1/24s. The Parma folkes have an interisting womp style chassis called "FCR" that is used by a lot of people for doing hard body 1/24s"

Though I've been involved with slots for quite awhile, the customizing/tuning aspects are all quite new to me. Are there any other chassis manufacturers to consider & do any of them also make a RTR package I could mount bodies to?

Thanks,

The only other one I know of is JK. I do not know what it is called or the price but I know that a hard body will fit on it.

The FCR works pretty well if you do some modifications to it. You might also look at Patto's website http://members.optushome.com.au/pattosplace/ as he has several different chassis that should do what you want.

Also on my Page (http://fp1.centurytel.net/TheAerie/slotindex.htm) I show you how I modified the FCR chassis to help the handling when using a hard body NASCAR body. I don't race these anymore although I would like to. currently the only track in the area doesn't have a class for them. So we don't run them.
