Hi Fellow Racers,
When I was 13 or 14 I would go to a HUGE Building in Gardena, California that had at least 8 road course tracks and 3 or 4 dragstrips. Did anyone else go there? Does anyone have pictures? I tell my friends about it but it does sound like a big story to them.

Thank You For Your Help

Hey, Woody:

I vaguely remember that place. It was huge, sort of poorly lit. If I recall, wasn't it owned or sponsored by a model car manufacturer like Revell? In fact, Revell Raceway might have been the name. Not sure. I used to race at Classic Speedway on Washington Boulevard in Culver City.

I just joined tonight after finding my old wooden decal-laced box full of cars and supplies. Lots of mad experiments with rewinding Mabuchi motors.

Maybe it was Tom Thumb raceway.I have a rod and custom magazine from 1965 with a 2 page article on the place with pictures. It was pretty big with a lot of tracks.A red,black,yellow,orange,figure8 atleast that's what I can see in the magazine.
