Hello All,

Here is a shot of the new Dirt Late Model from OS. Did some testing on Sat. at the Mid-South USRA race in Abbeville. Body was very fast, lots of downforce. Had to go to a harder tire. Was several ticks faster than the JK DLM body. According to Ron they should be out around Oct 1st.

Looks like an ultimate GTP body with a cab added on. Ron's existing DLM body has been the hot setup in the local outlaw class. I expect this one will become quite popular too.:)

It is very fast, and tons of DF. I went to a 50+ Durometer tire. Hey I may try it with a GTP chassis.

What are the tech requirements for Late Model bodies???

Hi,

The roof must fit tech gauga and the rear spoiler at 1 5/8". THere is no front bumper rule this year. This is what we go by in the Mid-South USRA. Which the DLM class is our biggest class. IT is really a GRP10 with a DLM body.

We are getting ready to run 4.5" LMD on 4" chassis. I know the roof want tech for a 4.5" car at 1 7/8".

So I was thinking no less than 1.5" as is the case for 4" cars???

In the SCORE Series there isn't any roof height tech. There must be an 1/8th" front bumper and an 1 5/8th" rear spoiler height.

is this the new 4 inch body that is supposed to be more downforce than the current 4.5 incher that everybody slams and wedges to put on a 4 in. chassis?

This is actually a 4.5" DLM body that Ron has reworked to meet USRA rules. Very fast. I had to go to a harder tire because of the downforce it produces.

Ask you local track to order them.

evidently these are proving popular. Need For Speed in Manchester recieved a box of these 4.5 in. bodies and the new 4 in. outlaw bodies.......they might have sold the entire box they got yesterday in a few hours
