I just want to envite anybody who wants to come, to the next RUSCAR event on Saturday, November 4th at 12:30.

We're in North Aurora, Illinois.

That looks like you guys are having hilarious fun!! Wish I lived closer to you. Kind of like Vanishing Point meets Nascar. I'd love to see some video footage of an actual race.

Yes, it is quite funny to watch and nerve racking to participate.

We experimented with the video cam last time, and will do more next time. You can bet I will post it.

Because of the variation in the track (all 3 brands, banked curves, rough RR crossings, etc) and the need to keep the cars sitting solid, we use the Life-Like T chasis. We've tried all the others and they seem to work the best. They are pretty fast, and they stick really good. they give the driver a little forgiveness so that watching out for the trains is the biggest part of the fun.

I almost bought a lot of 12 of those on ebay, but was warned about very fragile front ends.????? . Is there some sort of clip near the front axel that breaks? I have never seen one in person...

Haven't had that experience. We've plowed them into the trains hundreds of times, and never broke anything. Wrecking them is kind of hard on the pinion and crown gears though.
