I have 2 commercial 1/24 scale tracks for sale. First i have a 100ft tri-oval with a very different configoration. The track was completed in Febuary of 2007 and is in very good condition. Has some typical wear on the braid and slots. Track walls were protected with cove base and have no permernant damage at all. The track measures 44x18 footprint but could be easily shortened to fit a smaller space. Lane centers are 4.5 with an extra half an inch of burm on red to the wall. Very fun but different track. I would like to get $1500 without power and timing or $2000 with power and timing. That track has trackmate pro system and uses 2 six volt batteries ran in a series for power. I also have a king cobra by an unknown builder. Looks like a Chris Dadds track but i dont know. This track needs braid and legs but is complete other than that and comes with SRT card. Track surface is great but will need minor repair to the sidewalls on the inside of the donut. I am asking $800 for that track. I am open to reasonable offers on both tracks. Tracks are located in Northwest Ohio about 40 miles south of Toledo Ohio. I may be able to help with delivery within 100 miles. The tri-oval is still up and running and can be viewed or driven on before September 7th. After that it will have to be dissassembled. I am gonna try to post pics but often i cannot. If there is no pics with post please email me for pics. I dont have pics of the King cobra as i have never had it set up.

Do you know where the King Cobra track came from? Who did you buy it from?

I bought it from here in Ohio but it wasnt set up here. It has a sticker on it that says "spove" so he might have raced on it and might know of its origin.

Does it have tongue and groove joints or butt joints? If you look on the underside of the track, does it have a stamp from the maunfacturer? Ogilvie used to stamp the underneath of the track. You said that it needs legs. Are they triangle shaped or something else?

It is tongue and groove at the joints. I have looked several times at every piece and have never seen any stamps like ogilvie uses. It would use the triangle legs. It has the nice epoxy surface. Track has been built by a professional. I will get some pics of the the pieces. It has been stored in inside dry storage.

What is the footprint on the King Cobra?

I believe the footprint is 24x55. It is about the same as a regular king track.

King Cobras are normally much narrower than a standard King.

....and a little longer.

I did see the track measurements on a section of the track. I know it was 55 long but i must have been wrong about the width.

Mike - I was finally going to live up to my long-standing promise to stop by on Sunday this weekend. I'll be in Toledo for a wedding and was going to drop in on the way home. Will you be open Sunday?

Naturally, there was no room in the truck for slotcars, but I was hoping to bum one to play with.

If you'll be there, please post your address so I can mapquest you.
