Great win George. Isn't that two in a row?

Casey Scott on the podium? The guy doesnt touch a controller for five years and then comes back and podiums at the Nats!!! Not bad.

The A-Main was a fantastic race with George and Mike going back and forth. Both of those cars were rockets and if Mike hadn't run out of tire with 2 heats to go it would have come down to the last lap for sure. It was a great experience to run with these guys and watch how fast they could get the car around. Everyone has been super cool this week helping each other out and promoting fantastic racing. The GT-12 race on Wednesday is going to be very interesting. Again Roger, great coverage! Thanks for all of your hard work.

I would have loved to be there but I'm kinda in the doghouse with my boss right now so I gotta wait till this blows over before I request any more time off. I'll be doing Slugfest & the Worlds.
[I] raced at the scale nats for 10 years straight!.

Looks like Wombats kickin but two!!

Now, go get a win, OK?

I can only race LMP and 1/24 Euro cause of work and school. So im going back up there on friday morning to practice. Maybee if im lucky i'll be able to podium in that. But i would be happy just to finish the race lol.

A big thanks to the Expert LMP podium finishers, all with BOW arms. I do believe that may be the second Nats win for George with the same motor... when its finally out of comm there will be mourning for sure in the Russel household. Mike Williams has a very similar track at his raceway back in Iowa. Casey, still the youngster, has local familiarity with the track. All this experience is priceless at that level of competition.

Yes, I was indeed reading the techsheets. George isn't a sponsored racer of mine, so I have no idea why this would be, unless there was an opportunity to change after qualifying? He'll tell me eventually.

Congrats to George and Casey. Looks like the time away from racing hasnt hurt Casey's driving at all.

Congrats to George, Casey and Mike.

Casey, great job dude, and it was fun racing with you again. It was nice to be able to sit back in practice and change motors while you did all the testing. it's been a while since I've had anyone to work with at the track.

With the shortage of Cahoza setups, neither Casey or myself had any big bore setups, so we honed a couple of my older setups on Friday morning and put in the two big BOW Contender arms I had with me. We ran through all of the small arm setups we had with us, but none of them were as fast, or as smooth as the two big arm motors. Caseys ran great and he drove a great race to take 2nd, while mine developed a brush problem in qualifying that I was unable to diagnose then or during the race, which left me seriously short of horsepower.

Thanks to Casey for putting together the car I was supposed to run, but I was struggling with a light car on Chick's track, so I went back to my latest evolution Fred Hood, Cars by Crash .030 C11 car for the race.

Thanks Greg, yeah I won last year too. Used the same BOW arm two years in a row. As Monty said, it will be a day of mourning when the comm goes phenolic....it's at .185 now....
