Only for IRRA rules. D3 uses .225 for F1 fronts.

Didn't George once "Modify" his retro chassis that wasn't working correctly with a Dremel at a race? ;)

If this is for NorCal F1 they run different rules. Sorta combo of IRRA and D3 with their own motor rules. I can't find the updated set right now. Russ can probably chime in on this.

This was an example of what George did to his Falcon motor at the 2010 Flats (at PSCR in Edgewood WA)...

That's why you don't let George do the teching. Anyway, the chassis built to NorCal Retro specs, so it's under 1-1/2" wide & the wheelbase is a little over 4 inches. The motor is a Slick 7 Mini-Brite, geared 8/28; these motors may be slower, but they're great for flat tracking. The rear width is a full 3-1/4 inches with 1/4" x 3/4" fronts on an 3/32" independent axle. The monorail is .078" & the side/center pans move independently (like a flexi). I've been building this chassis for over 10 years & it still works the best. George own one & he won many VMRA races with it. Try it, I think you'll like it.

I've driven some of Russ' creations and they don't disappoint. As always, stunning work! It's almost too nice to drive.
