View Full Version : GRRR 2011 #3 - "What Me Retro?" at ASR-IMS in Longwood, Florida on February 26th

Well it's time to head back to ASR-IMS in Longwood, Florida to visit Kenny Holton and his staff and race on the fastest Blue King in Florida!

This track came out of Ohio and is one of the best Kings I've ever been on. It's fast, has a bit more postitve camber in the Deadman and it simply rocks!

So, to raise the ante just a bit, we have decided to try something a bit on the wild side and we're going to run Can-Am and also Retro Stock Cars in this fine track later this month!

I'll say this, we had a blsst racing the stock cars on the big, high speed tri-oval in The Race Place in Holly Hill, now it's kind of like Sonoma or Watkins Glen has come into our schedule. It should be another fantastic race.

Here's all the info:

Is there a race at ASR-IMS today April 23,2011?

The first race has been scheduled for May 14th for several weeks now. Some of the GRRR guys have talked about getting together for some practice today, but nothing like a race. Kenny might have been confused about this.

It wasn't Kenny, it was me. I think Marty told me about the practice session and I ended up thinking it was a race day.. No matter, my car ( 1:1) broke down on the way home last night.
