We're also looking at bringing Retro to SCRAM in Monitor. I was signed up to race Can-Am at the Flats with a Tom Hasen Car that I swindled him out of(Thanks Tom!) but Heath Issues kept me home.Next Time! Headed out today for Spokane and going to Race Retro ther. I also hav 3 or 4 guys interested but not enough locals to start a program. Im located in the Middle of Washington State and thinking of doing a Retro Race on a Saturday this fall some time if I can get enough interest. .........Great Job Tom ,Dale, & Dub!!!!!! Hillbilly

Dub used the car I won with at the Fall Brawl Coupe FK race last Nov. That thing has been great on a 220 down to a little 65 ft club track, and it had a very strong TSR in it this time. Its a what I call my Straight Rail Hanada based chassis, while I ran a Zee Rail version. Dale's car is still the counter car he bought last year. I'll see where the pix are and get them linked here later.

The "race development" page here- http://www.npl.com/lapmaster/twister/stats/Stats00210_RD.htm shows how close it was through out the race.

Jim carries RTR Retro cars custom built by Tom Hansen in stock at PSCR.

No photo on the web site - but it shows them as in stock at $199.95:

Tom Hansen Flat Track Can-Am RTR (http://www.shoppscr.com/rtr-cars/pro-built/tom-hansen-flat-track-can-am-rtr-th100)

Based on what Tom posted above, I'm guessing that this is the same as the "counter car" that Dale Olive took 2nd place with.

The one that Dub raced and took 3rd with might be a bit different, but I'm sure that Tom or Jim could let you know if one like that could be special ordered, and if it would be an additional charge.Hey - if they work on the Twister - it's a good bet that they would work great on the White as well!

(Shamless plug - OWH pimps for sponsors!) :p

Hopefully, once Jim has time, I'm sure he'll get some pictures of the cars posted.

Jim,
I think it's a Hanada #100 Retro Can-Am Chassis Kit, the designator #100 means 1" chassis you can also specify #075 for a 3/4". Pacific Slot Car Raceways has them in stock for $45.00.
Those Hanada chassis are pretty good and there are many ways to build them and even the single wire chassis works real well! Take a look at the Retro Racer group on FB.

Kewl, da pix made it.

Now to pack them up and send them east for another race.

I use the 1" kits and then use my own 1" motor bracket to build up my top line chassis.

Can you identify whose car is whose in the above pics?

Uhh, two of the three cars have our barely discernible names names written on the bottom of them.

The white car is the one Dub ran, I ran the Yellow one. Dale's is the other.
