Doug - The schedule you posted here has Spec 15 starting at 9am on Friday May 14. The one you handed out at the last series race has Spec on the same day, but starting at 7pm - which is correct? (If you don't know the answer, the correct answer should be 7pm, right??;)

yeah what is 27 light never heard of it
J.Sohl
11-29-2003, 09:23 AM
I am also looking forward to the Worlds. By the way 27 Light is a steel chassis with single mag 27 set-ups.

Jonathon, therein lies the question. It used to be single mags and steel frames but if you look at the ESROC 2003 rules write up for World's classes the distinction now is spray glue and a limit of two motors a heat ( 2 for quarters, 2 for semi's and 2 for the main). That is why I asked the question. Maybe Gugu or one of the Europeans can help? I will look up the website for the ESROC rules and post them as an edit .
Paul
ps http://src.sophics.cz/esroc_rules2003.pdf
it loads slow though!!!
but then I found the rules for the Worlds at Brazil this year and it does say singles and steel but only 2 motors for the race so who knows,
http://www.npra.com.br/WORLD2003/rulesandraceformat.htm
Doug, I am sure you will figure it out.

27 light rules, I will check on. As far as a gp7 warmup race, I am thinking Wednesday May 19th at 9am, nothing else was running on the king that day. How does that sound Mikael?
Mikael Silén
11-30-2003, 02:00 PM

Spoke to Doug and he said that 27 Light would be single mags, steel frame and 2 motors per race ( for example 2 for a semi and 2 for a main). Also it would be run as an Amateur only race. Forgot to ask him if it would be spray glue but I think it usually is.

Great artwork - as usual!
But wait... STOP THE PRESSES!
Unless the winner is going to be crowned the new Worlds "CHAP", then I think theirs a misspelling!
Hope their's time to get ahold of the artist before it goes to the printers!
(I think spotting that should be worth a shirt!) :p
See you "chaps" later.....

Which track is Open 12 on?
The post here says..
Tuesday........May-18th---Casra B Prod and Open 12.....7pm
(both classes will be run on the king)
But at http://www.portjeffraceway.com/ it says...
May 18th B Production 7 pm King
Open Group-12 To follow Hillclimb
Also will there be concours? and will there be one minute between heats like there is in ISRA?
Bent rim
05-03-2004, 05:14 AM
B production is on the king and open 12 is on the hilclimb. No concourse awards. One minute between heats is correct.

When ( and why) was the magnet size restriction introduced?Previous rules descriptions have simply referred to single magnets? This would mean that Alpha 365 x 425's would be illegal, as would 450 x 380's ?

GuGu, when you say 2 motors for the race, is that 2 motors for the whole race, semis and main or is it two motors for the semi and two motors for the main ( for a total of four motors for the whole race)?
