I would like to get some good 3/32 axle bearings... Do I get the Slick7, Koford or .... I have tried Parma oillites, but they are too loose to begin with and I got 100 pair and no one wants them...
Hope you can help me.
Thank you

If you mean ballbearings, there are at least half a dozen vendors for them, including Koford, Slick 7, Alpha, TQ, GTO, Hurricane, and some others that I certainly don't mean to diss by forgetting them for the moment. Most are pretty good, nothing stands out in my mind. If you really mean BUSHINGS, however, I'm completely sold on the Slick 7 hard bronze bushings. Those things will outlast the axle, and probably the chassis! The downside is that they MUST be kept well lubricated to avoid seizure, preferably with a fairly viscuous teflon blended oil. Among slot racing sources, Champion Turbo Lube is my favorite. Strangely enough, Slick 7's own blend of oil is too thin. Greater viscosity will maintain a lubricant film through longer time and distance.

Hey Monty. For your information the original GLIDEX was made for ball bearing in mind. When Rudy was informed that it was to thin for use with his bronzed bushings he brought out a GLIDEX II which is made just for use with the bronze brushing as it is a thicker blend of the same type oil.
