Kelly Mags

Has Kelly come out with new magnets. Ive been hearing that kelly came out with better magnets than what was out before.

How are they different from the Kelly's that I have been using? What grade of ceramic are they using now and on the older mags?

I have been hearing that they are not as stong as the old ones and the new one do not require honing.

the only thing i can tell you is that they work best, from what i have seen, in strap motors. but then again, if you had really high battery power that has gobbs of amps to give out, then they should work just as good, if not better.

They have a hard time running at PJ if you cant set them up. Same for Slots. Unless you know what your doing, they are a pain.

Kelly Racing did get a new shipment of magnets in. They are more uniform in shape and size. The batch that I went through all seem to run higher in strength, but you still have to fire up the ole hone.

Ah ok. I guess the mags that this guys has has been the lucky magnets.
