I'm all in favour of floro painted cars - in fact, that is the very colour I paint all my cars.

As I get older, it makes them easier to see on the track. Of course the other racers get to see them too :D :D :D

I am an "older racer" too and bright colors are quite helpful. But concours is supposed to go to the best looking paint job, not the brightest!

Appears to hopefully be another one for the PJ gang.... Nice run everone and I home it works out for Erkle.........and so it is. Nice run Erkle. Thats 3 for 3 for PJ so far. Hell yeah. Congrats on larry and Doug for making the main and congrats to Erkle for another national championship

I would have liked to watch that last heat with John, Lamo and Bent Rim all within a lap of each other, and all side by side, going for the final podium spot - musta been good!

P.S. As usual, my internet connection took the day off right in the middle of the Nats. :mad:

The good news is that I'm at the Watkins Glen Motor Sports Research Library (I didn't even know we had one).

A few minutes ago, they wheeled a '69 Lotus F1 car in here right behind me...I think it was driven by Jochen Rindt at the race here that year......pretty cool stuff.
