Hey there. Can you put me in contact with Don from slots of fun?
I just purchased a track from Jon Higgman in Pickens SC and I was looking to buy some parts. My number is 864-395-2020 thank you.
  2. To be honest with you, Larry, I can only assume that it's second gen, since I bought it right before Jeff suffered his personal difficulties that drove him out of business. It's the upper model, not basic.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm going to try one more check to see if I can rectify the issue I've been having. I think a good cleaning would certainly be in order, also.

I'll advise if I need to press for your handy work. I really appreciate having you there, if needed.

BTW, you're selling your time much too cheap! But seriously, I also appreciate your willingness to help at such a reasonable rate. Will touch base again soon.

Hi Jim, Is it a first or second generation unit? I have a good working 1st gen myself as a backup, They test and repair ok. I can deal with them. Normally I limit my surgery to resistor and diode controllers for others. I have enough of the different transistors models that I understand what USUALLY needs to be done.
The 2nd gen JG is mostly solid state surface mount parts that are next to impossible for me to deciphier without a working model next to it.

If it IS working OK and just needs a cleaning, I expect no problems with any model. I have a 1 ft test bench 'track'..
