It is Mid America's web store front
A better description would be "splined" not finned...Definitely not cooling fins. I believe those "splines" are there to assist the old rubber tires to not slip on the hubs.

Well progress has been made
Shop is clean and new track configuration laid out. Raising it up a little and still have to fix the 3 new joints. Sanding, painting, braid work and controller stations...

A job change last July has made this thing possible again.
Here is where I'm at:
The Hillclimb is just in too rough of shape. The upper...
The track(I'm assuming the MTT from Chico) Mike C is talking about is a good little flat track. Dwight typically takes good care fo his tracks. If it will fit your space it would be a good option....
This months (October) Road and Track has an article about Spica fuel injection for Alfa Romeo (pg99).
This is actually my dad (Wes Ingram) formally of Davis & Ingram's Jewel"T" 1967 NHRA Super...
We are getting closer.
Took a week off and spent the whole time working on the store. Realized last night I hadn't put 20 miles on the odometer! The good news is great progress, we could have the...

What a great problem to have! 3 first class facilities all bidding for their 1st D1 Nats. There is no question that Mike or Frank will do an excellent job as both have hosted very successful D2 Nats....

BTW,
Anyone interested in helping just give me a shout. I'll be here most Saturday's and would welcome the company.
Well here we are at the end of June.
This year has been very busy, the 3 job idea really didn't work very well. So now I'm down to just 2. This frees up my Friday nights and Saturdays to work...

The JK c21 is comparable in style to the Champion, but lighter and much easier to drive right out of the box. The TFlex(Champion) requires a fair amount of set up to make it handle to its optimum....

Well said Mike.
Personally I don't understand not promoting a universal set of rules. While I think the USRA needs some adjusting it has its good points and has been around forever. The more track...
Fair?
So you want everyone to complete in a national championship race with little to no prep or setup time because that's how you choose to complete? It seems pretty reasonable to make them...
