    American Blue King tracks

I am trying to find out how many original American Blue King tracks are left. I know of 4: Two in Ohio, one in New York, and another in storage (and for sale) in Texas. Is that it? Are there any more...

    My Favorite Tracks

    Hi Chris,

I raced at Mike Leach's FasTrak Hobbies in Newark, Ohio, for several years, and ran on all three tracks that you built for him: a tri-oval, a King and the UK Black. All were excellent....
  4. Rent-a-site

Has anyone thought about buying a track (or building one), paying close attention to ease of assembly and tear-down, and renting a space for a weekend race? I know our local fairgrounds is trying to...

    Macs

Just out of curiosity, how many of you out there use a Mac instead PC? I'm on my third one in 17 years, and I'm just wondering how many have refused to go over to the 'dark side'?

    Gears

If you are running a Contender type arm, I'd recommend an 8/39 for the long tracks, and switch to a 7 tooth pinion for the short one. Use GT1 angled pinions. I'm running .510 arms in .530 setups,...

    Hondas

    My 2 cents:

I drive a '93 Honda Civic 5 speed. I AVERAGE 39 miles per gallon. That is city and highway combined, not just highway mileage. And yes, I run the AC in the summer.

Thank you Ron. I wasn't sure if Carl was a "hands-on" type of guy. Trivia stored for future recall.

    Reamers

I guess I need a 2mm reamer. I dug out my old McMaster-Carr catalog, and they have two types: straight flutes and spiral flutes. Is one better than the other?

    Here you go!

Here's the whole deal: steel center section, brass pans, elephant ears, and the infamous comm cooler. This was my Gp. 27 setup in the 70s. BTW, I still have whats left of this chassis.
