    Magnet Gapping

    Monty,

Sometime back you were kind enough to post a chart showing recommended magnet strengths for various arm types (Contender, SWasp and G12).

What about Pro-Slot C-Can magnet gaps? Do you use different gaps for different arms/magnet strengths?

I'm going to order some steel magnet gapping slugs and wanted to know if there were some "typical" values that would work better than others.

    Thanks,
    JayGee

    I like .535"

    JayGee,
Check my math and explanation to Buffalo Kid on his magnet question.

I have a slug which started life as a .535" diameter piece. I've cleaned and polished it so many times its now about .5335". I still use it for 99% of my motors.
