I edited the starting time note above - the C-12 Euro will start after 1/24 Eurosport and the USRA National Annual Meeting.

The meeting was taking place while I was on the phone with Greg Gilbert a bit ago.

Ball Bearings (in cans) finally passed!!!

We've been voting on that one every year since Boise in 1999!

That's the only thing I got info on - the rest we'll have to wait until someone has time to post.

Man - now I know what it feels like to not be there

I hate not being at THE NATS - but between managing a new slot car store, and my father needing around the clock care, I was unable to make the trip this time.

Wish I could be there....

Meeting notes:

2006 Nats will be at Rohnert Park in northern CA.

1/24 Eurosport will use GT1 bodies.

The only results I can recall is that "Joe SSS" sometimes known as "Chubby" here on the OWH won the race by about a mile and a half. His car was so hooked up and he drove it just about perfectly. Congrats to him.

I've blanked out on the rest of the results, I know I got 6th place and the Concours. Thanks to Bill Taylor for his excellent paint job.

Bill, you won't want to see it now, it might end up in the Slot Car Bulletin as a post race fatality pic. I tried to slide it across the lap counter in the last few seconds with the body sucked up, it ain't so pretty now.

Good luck to the guys who got to stay and keep racing.
