    Mid south

The mid south div. II still has 4.5'' trucks and 4.5'' scale classes which run on several road coarses all around the NC, SC area.

    Buena Park Raceway-So Cal

Wednesday nights 4 1/2 nascar is run on one of the fastest king tracks in the country! Sign ups at 7:30pm - races start at 8:00pm.

The race is occasionally moved to the hillclimb for practice the week prior to a USRA race , as will be the case this coming Wednesday night.

If the roadcourse racers showed up to race them

They would get raced. There seems to be a good draw for the indy cars on the king.

BP typically has two races for "A" and "B" catagories. Last week we had 7 "Bs" and 5 "A's. A fair turn out for summer vacation time.

At times we have had a "C" class, also. Just depends on the turnout.

Once or twice I have even seen "D" class at BP. Great racing, worth the long weekly drive in traffic

I'd thought about it a little (very Little) but the 4 day drive to california just isn'y quite worth it. Might make the div 2 nats this year though.

    How about Erie

    Hey,

If you live in PA, how close are you to Erie PA. We race 4 1/2 's from time to time.

    Tracks

http://slotman21.tripod.com go check it out all of those tracks that have the USRA come threw will run it atleast during the USRA race, just follow the trail and you can run trucks and scale once a month I'm not sure about which raceways have what right now on a weekly basis.... closest one to me is over an hour away ours closed so I'm not positive about weekly programs.

    yes. and yes.

NORCAL/SCRA races 4.5 inch trucks in their series.

EDDIE'S SLOT CAR WORLD in Vallejo, California runs a "vintage" (now don't you start, Philippe ) 4.5 stock car race each month, using the same NorCal set up but with the bodies of Imperial Star Cruisers from the 1970's.

I can testify that both races are a blast, no matter how hard I suck (which is pretty damn hard). And not an oval anywhere.
