2006 USRA Wing Nats - Chicagoland Raceway

The 2006 USRA Wing Car Nats will go to Chicagoland!

    The vote was:

    Chicagoland - 44

    Port Jeff - 25

    Keystone - 3

The first vote is supposed to be narrowed down to the top two, and then a second vote cast. Since the 3 votes for Keystone were not enough to reverse the decision, Port Jeff politely conceded and congradulated Mike Swiss and Roger Schmitt for the Nats to go to Chicagoland next year.

Port Jeff Raceway will be the alternate site, in case Chicagoland for any reason, is unable to host the Nats.

Congradulations to Chicagoland Raceway - our host for the 2006 USRA Wing Car National Championships!

    Three suggestions

Mike I am sure you will get lots of suggestions whether you want them or not. My three are:

    July 29 through August 5.

    Track open 24/7.

Drop the 27 W/U race, no one will miss it.

Good luck and I am looking forward to seeing the 2006 schedule for Chicagoland.

    Question 2006 dates!!!

Whatever the dates will be, could the decision be made and locked in ASAP and preferebly before 6 months from now??

It'll definitely aid in my efforts to make it.
