    1 - Marcelo - 89
    2 - Lyn - 83
    3 - Bryan - 83

    5 - Roger - 78

I don't remember seeing so many track calls in a heat ever.... a real crash-fest

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    Heat 2

    1 - Marcelo - 183
    2 - Lyn - 179
    3 - Ed - 178
    4 - Roger - 174
    5 - Bryan - 167
    6 - Kenny - 161 (motor out)
    7 - Earl - 149 (smoked motor)
    8 - Mark - 129

Kenny's motor broke out and Joe (Chubby) ran it to the pits and had it back in seconds, even though he was pitting someone else - he just did it because he was closest. Nice to see such examples of sportsmanship - especially in such a crash-fest like this.

    New World Record!!!

After doing a bit of research - I have updated my post above.

It was not just a TRACK RECORD - but Kenny also set an AMATEUR GROUP 27 NEW WORLD RECORD as well!!!

And by the way.... with the concours winning car - also painted by Kenny (K3 Slotworks).

    Question

Seemingly slow semi's........are they crash fests or is the foreign rubber build up making the track slick? Or both!

its not so much the rubber build up

its the gears dragging after about 2:30, during the pro c-12 race just about everyone was dragging, and these heats are 4 minutes!!
