Rain of world records breaks even "WR ridiculousness"

Not my words, but if you care to take the time to read between the lines, doesn't what JPVR say make a lot of sense?

Wherefore goes the future of "wing car" racing?

    So sad.

No, he doesn't make a lot of sense, just Anti American crapola

He's obviously Pro European and that's ok but to belittle what has been happening in the F1 of slotcar racing is, in itself RIDICULOUS

What has been happening is serious work fine tuning some of the best Blue Kings in the World ie, Buena Park, Chicagoland, Port Jeff & Tulsa. This includes upgrades to wiring & turnbuckling, perhaps more. Gugu's new tires have helped qualifying although have apparently hurt racing but that's evolution & tuning. JP discredited tuning, GOOD GRIEF?!

No, I wouldn't call it "disgusting" and term it the end of interest to those so interested. What can be said is that the interest is indeed limited to a band of roving glue thugs, and to those who are enamored by their acts of ultimate speed, of which I am one

I will cheer if someone hits a 1.4 tomorrow, and very loud & proud for that racer! And I will continue to cheer loud and proud when records continue to fall at Chicagoland and hopefully Port Jeff in the future

As for the future of Wing Racing? It appears the glue thugs are doing well and talking it up here on OWH to help remedy inherent problems and I hope they do. I have faith they will think clearly & act responsibly to work toward a resolution that will help wing racing

And BTW, this is the NATS ie Nationals ie United States Nationals, not the Worlds and we very much welcome those from foreign nations but just remember what this is, a National Race

    Armchair Critics

It is a constant source of amusement to me that those who complain most loudly about wing car racing are those who do not race wing cars themselves....A strange phenomenom.

As for Tires that wear out quickly, well it is not compulsory to race on qualifying rubber ! But if you wish to do so then that is your choice, so be it.

    Zip..........

I read the small font print.......I do see it.........Although.........I scrolled down and read some of the rest JPVR's comments.........He is obviously speaking for Europeans...........NOT the World........If he is so interested in the USRA Nats.........Why isn't he here.........Travel is expensive..........Apparently no one ponied up to fly him here.

I hope others get a chance to read this drivel...........they can form their own opinions.............See ZIPS first post here for the link.

Nothing JVPR says makes sense. Cruzin has it right. You got a track in top condition and a lot of racers trying hard to go fast. It only seems logical that they should go faster than anyone has gone before.

As quoted by the clairvoyant Madame JPVR in her cristal ball:
That the jurassic monument Mike Swiss was eliminated was no big surprise, except for himself.
This statement in itself shows how out of touch this wacko drugged-up person is with reality.
Zip, giving ANY credibility you afford to this combined thief-cretin tells little about your IQ. Then again, your predictions about the F1 championship winner for 2005 tell it all.
    Cruizin, right on target.

It's only a matter of time...

before the lap times are 1.25 seconds. It isn't that far away.

I foresee a 1.0 before the end of the decade. It's going to take a new way of thinking but someone's gonna do it.

The big question is: will there be enough racers to care when it happens?
