couldn't you get these posted any sooner...?
There must be some conflict with some person's personal life somewhere or some school vacation or a religious holiday or something... can't you change the dates after consulting with all the guys who claim that they're coming but then don't?
What time will the 1:32 Eurosport race finish at...? I wanna order some Chinese food in advance.
I mean come on Frank, you're not even trying to be difficult...;^)
See you next April. If not before....

SO I GUESS AN AMATUER LIKE MYSELF DOESNT GET TO RACE ON THE ROAD COURSE? GT 12 WAS MY TICKET BUT OH WELL
from racing on the road course? Buy a C12 motor, put it in a Slick 7 chassis, buy a couple of sets of tires, and race Cobalt 12 Eurosport. You'll even get 5 minute heats, 40 minutes of fun. It's a blast, trust me.
And when you're done, you can swap the motor brace and use the chassis for GT 12.

HUMM I DIDNT KNOW THAT........... SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD THANKS! I JUST THOUGHT GT12 WAS THE "INTRO" EURO CLASS
that GT 12's are for sissies...;^)
Eurosports are what's really happenin..
Cost more, run faster, and cooler to boot, what could be better than that?

I had the pleasure of seeing your incredible driving and building skills at Keystone last April.
I would definitely say eurosport is your class. Especially 1/32.![]()
I'm sure you will improve on last years performance at the 2006 Nats. Just stay out of the way of those mean old Lee Gilbert 1/24th cars! They can injure less sturdily built cars that wander into their lanes.
BB![]()
wonder who this might be...
I'll definitely improve my driving and building skills by next year, as for those big ol Lee Gilbert cars, had the person driving it been paying attention instead of what he was doing, would have been a different story. Kinda pathetic to think that a former national champion had to stoop to that kind of stunt...
John Emmons
John,
Let me offer my sincere apology for my running into your car at Keystone while I was practicing with my 1/24 Speedshop Euro.
One of my methods to become comfortable on a track is driving and talking at the same time. I know, it sounds weird but it works for me. As someone who plays multiple musical instruments I have studied practice methods and have developed ways to do two things at the same time, like playing guitar and singing at the same time.
The way a performer does two things at the same time is by relagating one of the actions to the subconcious brain while the other action is handled by the concious mind. When I drive and speak at the same time I keep driving with my subconcious mind while speech, which requires some creativity is my main action.
When this accident occurred I was talking to Tim Hould and driving around the track when you fell off in the esses. I did hear you calling caution or something and reacted a bit more slowly than normally due to the fact that I was talking to someone.
I was off the throttle but coasted into your car and tapped it. My car was not damaged, not even a dent in the body but yours seemd to be hurt badly after the incident. As you recall I immediatly said I was sorry and went on with my practicing.
When I came off the track I noticed you were upset and were trying to work on the car so I went over and offered to fix it for you. You snapped at me and said no. I spoke to Lou Pirro and he said it was just a bent pan hinge which is easily fixed by an experienced chassis man in 5-10 minutes. At that point I stopped feeling bad about it because I had done all I could do, I said I was sorry and offered to repair the damage for you. I couldn't undo what was done so all I could do was what I did. I offered to make it right and you declined, so I don't know what else you expect.
Again, I will say JOHN, I'M SORRY I HIT YOUR CAR AND BENT IT.
I AM STILL WILLING TO REPAIR IT (if it hasnt been done yet) FOR FREE!!!!!
However, if you just need something to be mad at me for, and excuse your passive agressive behavior, you can do that too and I really don't care.

How Sweet It Is!!!!!
I happened to see an incedent like this once...twice...or maybe a whole lot of these bad "deals".
Scale Racing can be, and is like big car racing...crashing happens and feelings get hurt.
Best thing to do is come back again for another race...visit with your crash "buddy" and get back in the car and race...
I hope I can get to this event...even if I get crashed...I want to be there!
