There has been some discussion about adding a third race on Tuesday Nites. The races HAVE been starting at 7:30 pm. In order to allow an hour per race, we would need to start on the hour - 7pm/8pm/9pm.......sometimes that is hard to do....

IDEAS: 1) 1/32 production falcon (ISRA rules) early start
    2) alternate bodies for Millenium cars- trans/am or ?
    3) Indycars - 1/32 or 1/24 JRL will run on super-8 at nats.

what do the racers want to do?.........

Over three weeks ago the group talked about and agreed to combining the current two classes into one so we could start running the 1/32 Falcon LPM class.
I took it upon myself to print up some fliers to pass out two weeks ago about the changes. Everyone seemed to be ready fot the new class.
Now al of a sudden things are not alright??????
I have offered my help to you for the last time. You just don't seem to be able to SEE what and WHO is undermining you store, and I just don't understand the reasion for your lack of action.

When Jerry brought the Tuesday night racing to your store, I offered to do the teching and collect the money so that I knew that all of it would get to you. Jerry K even got Jerry T to come in for free to run the races. AT that time your racing programs were drawing maybe 5-6 people, now it has doubled. With all this FREE hepl YOu did not have to do anything but keep an eye on things around the store. Still you didn't see all the undermining that one person was and still is doing to you place. A person can only offer so much help before they give up due to the LACK of effort on your part
So now you can go back to having one of your store employees do all the work for you, and your racing programs can go back to what they were before. After all isn't that what they should be doing for the money you are paying them.

    Wouldn't this

be better handled in private via e-mail or the telephone?
There are "Racers" and there are "Talkers".....which one are you?

Bob Oaks, This is my public apology to you for upsetting you last night. I have purchased 3 cars over the past 4 weeks and now would have to combine two into one class. Why? This is what has happened to bigger racing more than not and have driven people out of running. I am willing to work hard with you to make it either a 3 races night or run say stamped steel and 1/32" one week wne millenium and 1/32" the next week, alternating weeks. I really have enjoyed running with you and the rest of the Tuesday nighty group and do not wish to see it end. If some of the regulars don't want to run then they don't. Call me and we can talk it over if you wish to make this work out for everyone. 815-363-8560 days. I had expressed my feelings about the combining for the past 2 weeks to Larry and he said he would work it out, well it didn't get done as I told JK. Also Rick was in no way involved in my decision last night.
    Call Me. RedLine Bob

P.S. I believe some of the other Tuesday night gang were also upset, but did not want to say anything.
