    Fox Speedway's Hardbody Enduro

We had a nice turnout for Fox's 1st hardbody enduro with a total of 9 teams . We started the day off at 11:30 with each team qualifying for lane choice and at 12:00 sharp we started the race. We ran 15min. heats with a 1 1/2 min. lane change. Wow what a great time we had as there were a limited amount of track calls and crashes. I think at the end of the race there were maybe 3 cars missing parts. With all the good clean racing the race was over by 2:35. Thanks to everyone who participated and to Doug and Brian for a really well run enduro.

Here's the results... Congratulations Team Fox!

Sweet looking cars. If you got any more pix, I'd love to see them.

These cars were straight up ProTrack things with hardbodies?

Durl, here's the rules we used for the enduro along with some nice pics of the hardbodies that are raced on the fri. night program.

Cars must have the original kit winsheild, and a rear window that may be lexan. All cars must have front and rear bumpers at the start of the race. If a car is damaged so badly that the chassis or gears are exposed it must be repaired or you will be black flagged. Otherwise, the windows and bumpers may be lost due to wrecks and cars may continue to race. Cars may be lowered to the doorline,or 1 7/8" min roof height.

4.5" FCR chassis with no modifications(other than the monting brackets may be moved inward for narrow body types. white guide flag only 1/8 axles front and rear. Chassis may be reinforced at the front and rear uprights with wire or brass tube.

    Thanks

I want to send my thanks out to Doug and Brian at Fox Speedway for a fine, well run Enduro yesterday. Thanks also goes out to Kevin Vostry for the excellent pictures of the teams, cars, and racing action.

I know Team Fox had a good time and everyone else seemed to enjoy the action and socializing. Brian stated yesterday he intended to try to do this once a month so opportunities are coming for those who didn't make it this time.

Just for the record I am the Team Fox guy who is follically challenged.
