Zipp, you can't upset me. And if Paul was on site I am sure we would have had posting during the races as things progressed. I figured you had been hungry for info and pictures and I am sure as mentioned they will be posted soon.
There are "Racers" and there are "Romans".....which one are you?

Barn- Burner Thank you to many

Not wanting to bore a bunch of readers...I just want to explain that last week at Port Jefferson was an outstanding time.

As racers of Slot Cars we all get wrapped up in our work and don't always have the time to enjoy the world.

Last week I had a great time and need to let the people know that helped to make it possible.

As is the usual case at Port Jefferson, I learned a lot more about going faster.

Though I did not compete at the level I had anticipated…there are some people I would like to thank for their support…allowing me to have a great, great time.

Of course without his dedication to our sport:

Doug B. ....You should be so very proud of your Junior Race program. What a super time.

    And in no official order:

    + Russ Upton – Chassis
    + Gary King – Paint
    + Dave G. – Paint
    + Bill Nolan – Motors

And to all the fun and fantastic people/racers who helped me out and taught me more about this great sport.

+ Bill Skinner - a great man with super products
+ Erkle and Pops - Two people the sport should bronze
    + Jonathan – A racer with a super future
+ Joey S. “Chubby” – One of the greatest drivers/people around
    + Trevor – Mr. Canada – You’re a good man Jacque
+ Don “Go” – A smart man with a tenacious appetite for winning
+ Rich “A” – A never ending giver of support
+ John Acello – The wizard of “Magnetism”.
+ GuGu – Gentleman racer and official Good Guy of speed.
+ Dale “Triggerman”– A never turn you wrong guy!
+ Les Wright – The measure of a Man
+ Lucky – An honest teller of honesty

Thank you all so very much...

And to Lil Brian…the future is yours

Another Barn Burner is in the books. Just like always it was a great race. I of course have to thank my father for staying up late hours and setting up a ton of stuff. My hat also goes off to Doug, Erkle and Poppy for setting up this great event. I also have to thank Mark G for lending me a motor in B-Production, Joe S for lending me a KILLER! motor in Pro 15's and of course Skinner for lending me an amazing 27 car and for pitting me during the race. Once again it was a great race. I look forward to seeing most of you during the Summer Shootout in Maryland.

    Wow,

What a great week of racing. Thanks Doug, Erkle and Poppy for this great event. I want to thank Doug, Erkle, Joe SSS, Brian, Trever and Skinner for all their help. Thanks Mark G for helping Jonathan in B-Prod (super power). Thanks Joe SSS for Jonathan's 15 motor (Awesome horsepower that ran 9 heats). Thanks Dennis for pitting Jonathan. Special thanks to Skinner for letting Jonathan run the roller in 27's and for pitting. Car was awesome. Thanks Flea. Special thanks to Jonathan for helping me keep calm in 15's. Congrats to all who had the opportunity to participate. I would be willing to bet that I cut at least 50 pair of tires this past week. Can't look at the tire cutter for a while. Hey Scott, it was a great race. Hope everyone got home safe and see you all at the Shootout. For those that I forgot to thank, Thanks.

    Later,
    Edsel
