    Tires? Tires?

I can honestly say I am not missing the Nats because of a set of overpriced tires. I'd love to be there, with or without tires made of unobtainium. Reason is, the overall expense of getting and being there. I just can't afford it this year...

Now, where did I put my winning lottery ticket...?

    Let's see !

Speed Rubber..... vs ..... Driving Skills.....

I'll take Driving Skills.. the Nats will be about SURVIVAL.... It's Fun.... It's competitive.... But.... One Thing It's Not! is a NICE Race....

Run What ya Brung..... Speed Mechant vs Driver the Nats is Where the Two Shall Meet....

    Just my .57 cents

    B.S. session

What a waste of bandwidth ! If you look at the respondents, better than half of them have probably not been to the Nat's in years, or for that matter even competed in a sanctioned USRA race in 6 months or better.

this was not my idea of posting, if you look in the other thread it has BigDaddy posting a poll about tires for the nats, big daddy is jeff muller, he tried to make a poll, and didnt know how to do it, so i made one for him, this was not my idea, i really dont care about what other people say about me becasue of this thread...

Ive been getting emails and instant messeging about how stupid i am for starting this thread, i was only tryin to help someone out, jeez, you guys are all pathetic and you shoulb be going to the nats with dipers and pacfiers...cause all you guys do it wine a bitch about everything

    Good Points

I spoke to Joe SSS last night, and Larry Blanton about a week ago. They both had it right on the money. You will run well not only with good driving skills, but the entire car has to be tuned. Its not just the tires. The chassis body and tire combo have to be in just the right balance. This is a race car guys remember that. My 56 cents.

    Ron
PS Both those guys have been known to be pretty fast hombres.

    Hey Chubby,,,,

Calm down a buddy... I know and understand where it came from... You my friend are much better than this and Please try to stay above it... a word of advice as class racer a USRA official and a good friend of mine.. let this one roll off your back... and remember to choose your Battles next time you want to do a Favor....

all you did was opened yourself up for this by Trying to move Jeffs topic over.... chalk this one up.. and work it out on the Track.... Because we all know Chubby's driving and Speed Rubber is a Lethal combo....

You, Ron and Larry are correct... it's the whole Car... If you can't dail a car in.. it won't make any difference with speed rubber... not to mention dialing in the driver as well...

    CheeseCakes on me Chubs.....

Talking Thanks for the light hearted entertainment.............

    I won't be attending because:

    * The cost of airfares is too high

    * I don't have sufficient annual leave available

    * I don't have a Wing car programme

Now LFO, dude, come on!! lol..... I plan on racing an aluminum car against all those CF Chassis, and im not the least bit worried. 16 mag setups? Bring 'em on, I'll be just as fast w/ my 8 mags. Bad Arms? This isnt ceramic racing your talking about now, open arms are a lot better quality, and its going to be fast!! Electronic controllers, if you shop around, you can get a good deal on one, but they are well worth the money, and its not like they wear out. Too Expensive??? LOL.... Women are more expensive the Slot Cars.... So Go Racing!!!!!!!!

    Josh B.

Hey Chubby, will you change tires mid heat for me in the Semi Pro Race? You might have to do it twice per heat, but i'll be fasst!! LOL

Can you "SCREW" your slot car??????? hehe

Oh yea.... you can "SCREW" your motor in......

You can "SCREW" your "NUT" on the guide......

You can "SCREW" your endbell to the CAN.......

You can "SCREW" your tires to the axle........

Awwwwwwwww , but women smell much better than your slot car...well...... except, maybe for the tires.......lol
