    Pro GTP

    Thursday - April 20, 2006

    Pro GTP - King Track

For inquiring minds (Josh) who want to know...

The Pro's are teching in now (9:30 PM PST), and then will be concours and the Quarter Finals.

Please bear with me if I fall behind - I am able to write down the heat results between heats, and even get them typed, but to scramble outside with the laptop and get the signal and upload with only 3 min heats is pretty tricky... so sometimes I have to do a few heats at a time.

The King Track is a bit harder, as the monitor where my laptop is behind the counter is only hooked up to the road course, and the King Track monitor is tough for me to read, with my aging eyesight.

Should be a very interesting Pro GTP race, with the 3 Paul's here - Gawronski, Ciccarello, and Pfieffer!
    (Where's Beuf?!?)

    Gotta get back inside....

Update - After thrashing all day, Paul Ciccarello decided not to race as he has been feeling very ill. Even though he did not feel well enough to race, however, Paul volunteered to help Bill Vanderziel with Teching in the cars. Paul then helped turn marshal and pitted for Jonathan Forsyth. Hope he's feeling better tomorrow.

Hit "Refresh" for updates to this post, as I'll try to update it after each Semi. The main I will attempt to upload after each heat if at all possible (shorter heats may prove difficult).

He has Monty's controller so he can drive both from one position, gives him 2/8 chance of making the move up.

Paul Gawronski won the GT-1 race with the Flex-5.

GO look at the pics of the chassis in Tech sheets.
