    Smile Scale Nats

Hotel reservations have been booked today. Looking forward to the race and seeing old friends. This should be a good scale nats, for everybody.

    Hand out Motor cost's

    16D's will be $22.00 each

All C-can motors will be $26.00 each

I would like to Thank Pro Slot and Koford For making these motors available at such a great price for this event.

Oh i see, ive never raced at a USRA event and i had no idea how much it was going to cost. Ive herd those motors are a really good quality, but that is a lot of money for amateurs to pay and very discouraging for newbies getting into the hobby IMO. I was really looking forward to attending the event, but im going to cancel my reservations in Philly, I cant afford that kind of dough.

    slappy,

Your right it is a little expensive.

    25- entry
    15- pit pass
    22- motor

$62.00 per class + membersip and the $90. a night hotel.

Even though it is expensive, when do you get to race against some good racers with equal equipment. I know I had a great time at the 2005 nats.

I know I can't afford to run every class but I plan on making a few. You just can't pass up the oppertunity. Hope you do make it for a few of the classes.

    Personally

I don't like handout motors either, because of the added cost to racers. It's tuff to do. But I can tell you, a couple of guys here have been using their hand out motors from 05 and they are still running strong with them.

The other entry fee's and pit pass fee's are cheap for any kind of National event. And those would be compared to spectator fee's. I paid 60 bucks to watch a motorcross in a farmers feild while I baked in the sun this past summer. Mount Morris,Pa. AMA outdoor Nationals! Loved every minute of it!

And a reminder , No one is forced to stay at this hotel.

    Just a suggestion...........

As a Counter jockey at the 2006 wing Nats...............I was getting Race Entry info..........and had to direct racers without USRA membership to the USRA officials..................GET Your MEMBERSHIP EARLY.............go to the USRA Forum..............go to the USRA Website.............and Get Your Membership NOW...............I sent mine in the other day....DO IT..Avoid the RUSH........Avoid the Hassle at BOTH USRA Events......

Joined USRA a few weeks back. I am waiting for my papaer work now. Plan on being there late Wednesday night and racing as much as the wallet will allow. kamenkrazy is right, the NATS are not for newbies. You do need a little experence to race and ENJOY the NATS. This is my first time going. I can't wait it will be here before you know it.

    WOW,
$22.00 for a d-can and $26.00 for a c-can WOW. The AMSRA Nat's was a hand out motor race for amateur also it is only $7.00 for a d-can and $10.00 for a c-can. This crazy money.
If you race you will get turbo charged 1 way or the other!!!
