    European Sedan - 13 entries

Some true classic duels were revived as NorCal ace Herman James battled once again with Matt Zenovitch - who after 2 years absence made the long trip to the Flats while on brief leave from the US Army - traveling from Iraq via Baghdad, Ireland, Texas, Oregon, and to Washington to barely make it time to race once again!

    Pro LMP - 7 entries

    1 - Paul Kassens - 261
    2 - Kevin Kosir - 261

    Concours - Bill Clemans

Bill Clemans won Concours hands down with this Pro LMP car. We didn't know how he could race it. Bill probably would have dominated the Pro LMP race, had his wheel not come off... allowing Paul "OWH" Kassens to hold off Kevin Kosir by a mere 4' to steal a rare, but hard fought win!

    1/24 Eurosport podium - Ray Bishop 2nd, Bill Clemans 1st, & George Russell 3rd.

Bill Clemans' name will be added to the Slugfest/Flats perpetual trophy for his 2nd time winning 1/24 Eurosport. Bill's first win was back in 1998!

Trivia Note - I'm just betting that Bill Clemans may well be the only slot car racer to win a MAJOR slot car event - with BOTH hands! Back in 1998 (and most of his life) Bill drove RIGHT HANDED. After suffering a stroke a few years ago, Bill had to switch to driving LEFT HANDED, and it wasn't long before Bill was once again winning races as a "switch-hitter" now driving as a south-paw. Bill's been a dominant racer in most classes, but rarely races Eurosports. Now he complete's the cycle as a slot racing "switch-hitter" by winning the 1/24 Eurosport race at the Slugfest / Flats - once with each hand! Way to go, Bill!

    It's over!

It's finally finished. What a great weekend of racing at the
Speedshop. Please let me give a quick shout out to just a couple
racers and when I can get more sleep I'll most likely remember more!

Thanks Craig " Fly racing" Reiland for your great braid/pit work

Ray Bishop congrads on your 2006 Grand Champion win and all the great side by side stuff.

Bill Clemens, you out rocked me!!! you son of a #%@@!
you gave me a real butt kicking.

OWH, Paul "Slot Mom" Kassens on your wins and getting
the points and reporting done and to tangle with you racing to.

Jason Stone, what and the hell can one say about you. I can't thank you enough for all crazed SoCal ways and leaving me with
some great memories. The help keeping Cody busy and your suggestion of putting him in a 1/24 Eurosport for some test laps still blows me away. You've left your mark on the Northwest.

    Lee Gilbert, your car's rock.

Alicia Gilbert, you are one of the toughest racers in the land and I can't apologize enough for wrecking you in the last heat of the
    1/24th Eurosport race. SORRY.....

To any outa towners and locals that didn't show. You missed some of the fastest/closest scale racing ever!!! Try and schedule it for 2007.

For those of you I missed. Prof, Jedi, Slap, Jim, Evil Bill,Evil Cody, George Russell, Herman James and Matt Venovitch and more!

    THANK YOU !!!!!

    HRK & Cody
