    New Track!

    Hi Guys!
Anyone from Batavia Illinois or the surronding area? If so were looking for some racers that like to go Fast!
Just finished this track and want to get a group of SS or RO guys together for a winter series. This track is four lane with a 76ft run line. Trakmate handles the scoring and power supply. Even the gutter lanes are fast on this baby!

Wall has been removed for picture.

F1, The best so far is with a green arm Patriot. It ran a 2.985.
The track is very racer friendly. Really good speed on all lanes.

    nice track

Funny I was going to guess in the low 3's.
Aren't those aprons are from old Tyco track? Think I used to have some that I picked up at a yard sale once. Never did try them though. I like the banking on them, thought they might work nicely with Tjets

Yeah they probably would work nice for Tjets. Is that the class you race?

Oh yeah! How about a 2.81 with a Green Arm. Is it possible to go 2.7?
I would have never thought you could go around a 76ft track in under 3 seconds. Especially with a green arm car. Gota love todays technology.
Offer is still open to anyone in the area to come and race with us. Would love to have ya.

    HO Joe.

We have two tracks in Naperville with two coming on line this fall. We are just a couple of gears from Batavia.

    Very nice track Joe.

I am in North Aruora, let me know when you want to race.

Or, you might want to plan to attend my next race coming up on Saturday, September 23rd.

I have a 130 fot 2 lane track with 9 railroad crossings. Racing is really more about driving and control than just pure speed, so that you don't hit a train.

I will post more on my track later, just wanted to get back to you since you live so close.

    Hey Morgan,
Yeah lets see some pics of that track! How many of you are racing on the 23rd? What types of cars do you run?

    Hey Joe,

Sorry I didn't get back to you before the big event. We had 7 racers for the "Kiss Yer Sister 250", and it was a HOOT! The next event, the "Buttcrack Toolbox 300", is scheduled for October 15th.

I am trying to post a picture of the track, hope it works.

We have an assortment of the Life-like Maxx Trax NASCARs. They hold the track pretty good and are plenty fast for what we are doing.

The track has 9 Rail Road Crossings, 6 Cris-Crosses, 3 Intersections, and 2 Squeezes. So, it is much more about staying alive than pure speed.

Basically the track has two sections. One that is IN TOWN, where all the trains and intersections come in to play. And the other is OUT of TOWN, where speed and control are king.

We call it RUSCAR, and it makes everybody feel like they are 10 years old again, but, with Beer!

More later, let me try this picture.
