    Results from Sunday's weekly Bracket race at North Gallery Raceway North East, PA 1/8 mile track Trix/Trax Timing

    The final had Dan with no losses against Carl coming out of the loser's bracket. Carl's Cuda was cutting consistent times all day, but Dan runs a .868 with a 513 light to Carls .830 and .663 light to win in the final.

    Stretch took everyone to school and taught them a thing or two about quick reaction times. He placed 5 of his 6 cars in the top 6 and 4 of them with no losses. No need to race the last four races once Stretch eliminated 5th place finisher Jim V. racing his 68 Dodge Dart with a Fast Eaddy Wire Chassis Parma s16d dial in at .800

    After a day of close racing the final had Bryan racing without a loss and Jim coming out of the second chance bracket. Jim campaigning a newly built car was running .006's within his dial-in all day. But as smooth as Jim's car was out of the hole, Bryan put a holeshot on Jim and left him sitting at the line, giving Bryan the top spot for the day.

    Norm and Dan face off in the Winners final and Dan stays unbeaten when Norm redlights.
    Which leaves Norm with 2 cars in the second chance bracket. Norm and Steve eliminated the 3 cars Jim V. raced into the quarter finals. Norm bests Steve, but must choose which car he will take into the finals against Dan's GTO. The Pro Stock Buick looks like the right choice after Dan redlights. But in the Money Run Norm returns the favor and redlights giving Dan the win and the top podium spot.

    Jim and Norm cruise to the winners final. Norm's Cuda was running right on his dial-in, but Jim and a bad light drop Norm to the 2nd chance bracket. Dan brings two cars back after early round losses and is forced to move the Mustang up to race Norm.
    Dan runs a 732 on the 731 dial and takes out Norm to move to the finals. The finals, it was the Jim V. show when Jim pulls the best light of the day .501 to Dan's .522 light. Dan had six .50- lights on the way to the final. But Jim had the .501 when he needed it the most. Jim ran a .839 on .832 dial and Dan ran a .744 on a .731.

    Jim wins two weeks in a row with the Super Beeeee! Jim placed two cars into the winners final. After eliminating Chris' Shelby Mustang Bryan had 4 cars left in the second chance bracket. So Bryan moved his Camaro up against Jim's Ford. Bryan put the Ford on the trailer and it was on to the Finals. Bryan put the holeshot on Jim with a .537 light to Jim's .580. But Jim only needed the one race because Jim ran a .833 on a .828 dial-in. Bryan couldn't lift and ran .752 on a .753 dial giving Jim the win.

    Bryan takes the winner's final over Jim. Jim was too much for Carl in the second chance finale. So the final, pits Jim up against Bryan's Dodge. Jim hits a .506 light to force another run for the first place money. Jim wins the second run when Bryan double fouls with a redlight and breakout.

    Meagan showed the boys how it is done. She hit good reaction times when she needed them. She knocked Bryan E. out of the winners final with a perfect light. After having 3 cars in the final 6, Brian F. brings the Ranger Pickup back through the second chance bracket to meet Meagan in the Final race. Meagan has the Challenger dialed in and gets the win when Brian redlights.

    It was all Stretch on Sunday. He had the Trix Trax timer down and his cars were on their dial-ins. It came down to Jim V. with his last car to challenge Stretch's remaining 4 cars. Stretch pulled a .501 light and shut the door on chances of losing the podium spots for the day. Three of his remaining cars finished without a loss on the day.

    Even though Dan ran a .706 ET to Stretch's .763. Stretch wins the race at the Xmas tree to take the King of the Hill crown into next week.

    In the finals Dan takes the win when he pulls the holeshot on Bryan. Even though Bryan runs a .773 on his .770 dial. Dan is able to peddle his car through the traps for the win. The Chevelle goes unbeaten on the day with Bryan's Camaro winning the second chance bracket after losing in the winner's final.

    Quick 8 has Dan B. retaining his King of the Hill crown. Dan defeated Scott B's Lumina Funny Car in the final with a .705 run to Scott's .746. This is Dan's second Quick 8 win in three weeks with the 66 Nova using a Parma Edge and 502 motor. TQ was Dan E. with a .703 run in the first round qualifing with his Nova.

    Bryan sent one of Jim's remaining 4 to the trailer, but couldn't advance further when Jim put a holeshot on him to secure 3 podium spots.

    It was only a matter of time before Chris B. won with the 78 Mustang. It has been a consistent runner all winter. This week cutting good lights and a little luck on his side Chris was able to take down the win. He knocked out Bryan in the winners final and again in the championship race.
