    After a 18 month layoff from racing, Racers brushed the dust off of 33 cars for the first Bracket race of 2014. No need to run the final race as Bryan Ebert sweeps the top 2 spots. Bryan beat Lorenzo Frietze and Jim Verga in the Semi-Final. Both racers red lighted when facing Bryan in the semi's. Jim Verga won the best light with a .515 {first round only}

    3. .780 68 Dodge Charger Quin Barnes
    4. .758 66 Mustang Jim Verga
    Best Light Bryan Ebert .002

    Bryan, again used his Red Wagon P/U to run through the field. He won both his Semi Final races handily to take the top 2 spots. The best race of the day was for the third place money. The racers decided to run for 3rd place money rather than splitting that purse. Jim dialed in at 758 with his Mustang and Quin 780 with the Black Dodge. The lights came down and Jim had the advantage with a .003 light to Quin's .007. But at the stripe, Quin ran a 785 on the 780. Jim fell off his dial with .024 over and Quin took home the 3rd place cash. Congrats to Bryan on his Back to Back wins with the Big Red Wagon.

    The monitors were turned off during Street Outlaw so no ET's or reaction times were provided during racing. But the best race of the day happened in Street Outlaw with John B running .749 with a 002 light against Jim Verga's losing .749 .003 light effort. Dan's King Vette was able to overcome bad lights and tough competition with strong runs for the crown of top Street Outlaw car.

    Craig O proved that the fastest car doesn't always win. He brought his Blue Bayou Willys out of the number 13 qualifying position to beat the #2 qualifier. Scott's 751 run in the finals with his Kohler Bros Anglia was good but the red bulb was bad.

    Brackets - 67 entries

    Quin had 3 of the 4 cars left at the end. Dan used a consistent running NGR 4-Link 57 Ford to knock off the young gun. Dan's .015 light in the Finals was the difference maker. Quin ran just .003 over his dial. With the .037 Reaction Time, Quin had to settle for the runner up cash.
