    Carl busted everyone as his Caprice Police car handcuffed the competetion with 7 straight wins to take the bracket race. In the final race Bryan pulled the holeshot with a .548 R/T. It looked like a sure win for Bryan until the flashing win light came on in Carl's lane. Bryan went .006 under his .787 Dial In. Tom won 5 straight, but with 2 losses in a row he settled for third.

    Quick 16

    1. Chris B. WRP Stratus F/C, Dan B Chassis, Koford Drag 20

    2. Dan E. WRP Stratus F/C/ FX Wire Chassis, Pro-Slot Dragmaster 20

    Norm top qualified and had the fast car on the day, but a redlight took him out in the semi final round. Chris had the Stratus dialed in to the track and was running steady .60's all day. It was more than enough to give him the title for the day. In the King of the Hill Chris pulled up against last weeks winner Tom. Chris had him covered with Horsepower .623 to .655, but stepped out to quick .393 RT to hand the crown to Tom.

    Parma Eliminator Class

    Results from 12/2/07 Parma Eliminator Class at North Gallery Raceway

    14 Cars

    1. Bryan E. Parma Ford Escort ET .788
    2. Steve K. Dodge Avenger ET .815
    3. Calen Parma Camaro ET .756
    Bryan E. Parma Stratus ET .794

    TQ, Calen, Parma Camaro ET .756

    This was our first race with the new Parma Eliminator Class. We run the class as a heads up bracket race with a .400 pro-tree. Based on the Edge Chassis and Parma 502 motor and current Pro Stock Bodies. Some changes are allowed, rear tires, brushes, brush springs and wheelie wheels. But the cars are pretty much a stock RTR Parma Edge drag car. Calen set the pace with a .756 ET as Top Qualifier. Bryan and Steve drove through the field to meet in the finals. Bryan cut a .412 and ran a .788 for the win with Steve launching early with a redlight and a .815 ET. Thanks to all our racers for giving this new Heads up class a try.

    This is the second week of the 6 week 2007 Bracket Series. With the win, Carl moved his Flamin Tomato Cuda into second place with 27 points. In the finals Carl's .527 reaction time was the difference over second place Danielle.
    Norm's third place finish moved him into third in the points. Tom B. was able to pick up 8 points to hold onto First in the standings. This was also back to back wins for Carl in the bracket class. {Last week's race was not a points race}

    Jim's wood chassis Camaro set the fast time for the meet. But Chris was on the lights with his second win in a row with the Stratus. Jim's .582 Et in the finals wasn't enough when Chris got him napping at the line. In the King of the Hill race, it was a repeat of last week. "King of the Hill" Tom pulled his Stratus to the line to race this week's winner Chris. This was the last and best race of the day, with Tom pulling the holeshot .410 to Chris' .416.
    Chris ran him down with a .631 ET, but Tom held on with a slight edge. His .635 ET gave him a .002 advantage for the win and the third straight week with the KOTH Crown. Thanks to all our racers that attended, giving NGR it's largest car count ever. 82 Bracket, 14 Parma Eliminator, 19 Quick 16 cars for a total of 115 cars on this Sunday. Thank you Again
