    Voltage

    We kept it simple at NGR. The 75 amp Bulldog is set at 14.2 running through a Deep Cycle battery. 2 buss bar connections at the start and no taps. Since it is a 1/8 mile and we don't run anything over group 20, we never made power an issue.

    Simple is good and thank you for the information. I love the commentary of the races. Almost like being there or reading National Dragster. Detail on the final rounds and car construction of record runs is great as well. You have a real nice program going there and certainly one of the best advertised. Seems simple power + simple format = great racing and good participation. Please, keep up the great job your doing there.

    New Track record set in Super Stock Eliminator Class at North Gallery raceway
    1/8 Mile
    New Record ET .735
    Pat R. broke Bryan E's existing Super Stock record of 742 with a quick 735.
    Pat ran the 735 in a losing effort in the first round of racing. Pat backed up the record pass with a 741 and 746 in qualifying.

    Pat ran a 69 Chevy Nova body. Chassis - Fast Eddy 4 Link, Parma 502 with PS Golddust brushes and Champion light springs. Tires JDS 1.180 x 300

    The Super Stockers were running quick. Two cars went under the existing track record of 742. Pat R. set the new standard of .735 in the first round, but was eliminated.     November 16th at North Gallery Raceway

    Parma Eliminator - Parma Edge with Sealed 502 Motors
    The track was looking fast and 3 cars made 6 pass' under .700. Bryan E. stepped up in the semi-final race and ran a .689 for his record run. He backed that pass up with a .697 and 699 in earlier runs.

    Bryan ran Pro-Track N275 tires, gearing 9/33, Golddust brushes and Champion Light springs with a Parma Stratus body.

    Super Stock Eliminator - Sealed 502 motors, Inline Chassis, Hardbody, 135 grams

    Pat R. had two cars that broke the record he set two weeks ago. Pat ran a 728 with his Nova. But with the track running fast, Pat knew his NGR prepped Camaro could also run in the 720's. The Yenko Camaro did the trick and blistered the track with a .727.

    Jim placed two cars in the winners final. He dropped the W-30 to the losers side. Dan was able to beat the Olds and had two chances to beat Jim's Edsel. Jim didn't mess around sending the Dan's Rail to the trailer after one pass. In the best light contest, Carl hit a 502 for the best light and Danielle a 510 with a closer Dial for the win. But in the next run for Danielle, she stepped up and erased Carl's 502, when she hit a perfect 500 light.

    New record time for the Super Gas Class at North Gallery

    Bryan E. set a new fast time in the second round of competetion with a .642ET. He broke the record in the first round with a 643 and it made for a great backup time after his second round pass.

    Bryan E. breaks the old record of 513 set by Ralph J. Bryan runs a 516 in the right lane during qualifing. He steps up in the left lane and makes a 511 pass for the new record. He was unable to continue in the race, when his car didn't stop after the pass. The wreck caused some damage, but car is repairable.

    Bryan set the new track record on his second Q run. But the car ran off the shutdown area and couldn't continue. This left the race wide open and Dan breezed to the final to face Bryan's 2nd car. Dan's 561 to Bryan's 567 would have been a great race, but Bryan left early handing Dan the win. Dan also won the King of the Hill on the day and Q16 points honors with his Monte Carlo FC.
