Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the 2007 Wing Car Worlds to provide OWH's infamous "Almost Live" coverage.

Lenore gratiously extended an invitation, and offered to help make it possible to attend, but I already had 2 prior committments that made it next to impossible. I always enjoy going to Buena Park - and Chris & Lenore always make me feel like family... so it was very frustrating that I was unable to figure out a way to be there.

The ironic part is that the 2nd prior committment has me actually IN LA just prior to and leading into the Worlds week... but I am unable to make the schedule & flight changes without it costing way too much. Work committments would also make it very difficult to linger in LA the rest of the week as well. It could have worked out sweet if I had been able to plan it differently.

However - not to fret - I have set up this special 2007 Wing Car Worlds Sub-Forum, and an OWH Worlds Photo Gallery, and I'm sure that Lenore will be able to recruit a volunteer or 2 to help with posting race results & pics here on OWH so that those of us who couldn't be there can still enjoy getting news and pics of the event.
