IMCA Report on Buena Park Worlds

At the IMCA web site (http://www.imca-slotracing.com ) we put a report on the One Motor Race and on the G27 race with structured results.

Can some one tell us who of "Beuf", P-A or Korec is in for the Open G7 event?

    Regards

    (for) JPVR

    Thank you

    Thank you, mister Klapka.
Let's hope that Horky can win at least the G7 Worlds. He is a perfect all-rounder and without technical woes he can make it, even if Beuf is there.

Paul Kassens WAS invited to attend but due to previous commitments (working) could not be here.

Results have been posted WITHIN 2-3 minutes after each race. (Best I can do)

Pictures and Tech sheets will be posted on my website hopefully by tomorrow (Monday) evening.

You are correct, I’m no Paul Kassens but again, Best I can do!

Does someone know why Joao Carlos Geraldo is not present to defend his world title? After his victory last year (both in G7 as in G27) nobody saw him still racing. Even at the 18th Campeonato Brasileiro he was absent. Did he stop racing, just as Paul Ciccarello, Mario "MSP" Schöne and Mike Swiss? Number of racers able to follow "Beuf" becomes very narrow. I see only Horky and P-A among those who are among the 40.

Thank you for the information. Will it be able at the main to have the results segment after segment?
Yes, you do what you can. Organising and doing the web at the same time is nearly an impossible task, that I understand very well.

Traveler, Thanks for the kind words!

    There will be 2-Sub Consi's
    4-Quarters: A-B-C-D
    2-Semi's
    And
    THE Main
    (Think I have that right)

    JPVR:

As in prior races all week, Yes, each segment will be posted within 2-3 minutes.

    Lenore,
I think what JP is asking for is heat by heat coverage as in: after the first
five minutes, the second five minutes, the third five minutes, etc. until the final total.

Mike, Thought JPVR meant after each semi, quarter, etc. Thanks!

    JPVR,

Honestly, I don't know if that will be possible. I'll try but cannot promise. I'd like to be able to watch the race myself but perhaps between intermissions, I can do it.

Let there be no misunderstandings. It has always been usual that at the MAIN FINAL with the 8 best racers results are published after each of the 8 5 minutes segments (in the States you call it "heats"). So one can follow who is improving his rank and who falls back in the standings. Since there is an intersegment of 3 minutes it should be possible to do that. Perhaps you can ask our IMCA president Chris Radisich to do that for you. I guess that Chris will first help Tim Tyler. But since chances are little that Mr. Tim can reach the main, Chris will be free at the Main. Do you think it can be worked out in such way? Thanks.

    Lenore,
It obviously helps if you have a dedicated person to do this.(not that your not dedicated )
Just the same, I don't think they need to be posted as it happens if someone is not available to do this.
After each semi or main is over, just do the heat by heat before you post the final results.(heats 2-7 can have just last names or even initials)
With the heat by heat thing, viewers can get a feel for how the race unfolded.
Personally I appreciate any info, but in this day and age of instant news with
lots of details, the public is spoiled and wants to stay spoiled
    Thanks,
    Mike
PS-have you had to have Tony Hobart arrested yet?
