Tim is an excellent racer. But he misses top level competition. In Australia he has only Yvan Wearne as opponent. Now he has Beuf, P-A, Benny Justice, Silén, Horky, and all others. It should be great if Mr. Tim could made the miracle. But he has to come from far. Let's first hope that he passes without bothers thesub-consi. I guess he can move up thru the Semis. But then???

    JP,
As a raceway owner, I don't want to guess on stuff like that and maybe hurt somebody's feeling(although your list is missing Forrest )

When we talked about a G7 race here in Chicago and you mentioned you were short on funds,I mentioned(I thought in confidence) that maybe you could save a bit of money by not flying in inactive or semi-inactive Australians
like Peter Dight or Dennis Traeger. You went ahead and exposed me as anti-Australian or anti-inactive racer or some nonsense and tried to convince me they would have a chance if they were there.
Now you go out of your way to say, (arguably) Australia's/New Zealand top wing racer and certainly active,Tim Tyler has no chance.
Sounds like you're talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Mike, Don’t see any “dedicated” people around. Everyone is either pitting for someone, watching the race (or taking pictures for me). Thank Goodness for that cause no-way do I have time to take any pictures. So far as posting names, that's not a problem, I just do a copy/paste.

JPVR, Have all day to find someone to help me do the heat-by-heat in the Main. I’m sure I can make it happen.

P.S. Mike, Tony is being real good!

    Mike, You'll never change

Before the Ultimate G7 race I negotiated with several Australian racers and they really believed that they could make it against the Americans. But already during the race Tony Pye and the others were honnest enough to admit that their arrears on American and European racers became big after they withdrew from international racing.
Of them all Tim Tyler was the most motivated. He understood that he had a long way to go, but that one day he can make it. I believe him and I always supported him.
But what kind of a hero you're that you even don't dare to make some race forecasts? Are you at once afraid of yourown shadow now that you run a commercial raceway? I think you never'll change. You're a typical American avoiding any form of critical view. You know as well as me that Beuf, Horky and P-A are the three for the podium. My favourite is P-A. Should Korec having been in I should have opted for Horky. But he has always bad liuck in main finals.

By the way: I ran never out of budget, but I use not all my money to pay plane tickets for others. And yes I have the right to change my opinion. Only old fools do never so.

João Carlos Geraldo is in activity still, but cannot go to the World's 2007 by personal problems.

I see only Horky and P-A among those who are among the 40.

    Poor P-A

P-A contests since 1980 all world championships on American soil. Only twice he was in Europe: in 1987 to win the G7 Worlds in Toulouse and in 2004 to reach the main final of the Ultimate G7 Race. The elimination of P-A is a serious blow for the race. I can imagine how he feels now. Racing can be cruel. Just as life.
