    Worlds - G7

    Jp,

I must say that BP Raceway and Lenore/Chris Gallegos are to be commended. They ran an excellent event. With regards to Horky, he blew up his motor in the quarterfinal and didn't move up. If you want to know about Joao Carlos Geraldo, I will send you a private email about it...

WOW! Just an incredible week of racing! First, thanks to Chris and Lenore for hosting such a great event! Just a phenomenal job! With the number of entries, the great OMO race, incredible GP7 qualifying, this will go down as one of the great races of all time! Many precedents were set, lessons learned for the future too. Congrats to Beuf and all the guys in the main. Les, you were coming baby, an incredible climb back to the top. The last heat for Michael was awesome, and Carlos, you were right there. And my friend Mr. Skinner. You made the main, and showed them some heat in the 3rd! Just a great job, and thanks for sponsoring the Main. Thanks to everyone, racers and owners, you showed how a great race can be run, and demonstrated a great format/blueprint for the future, Gil

My Hat's off to all that made a Main at this event. Congratulations Beuf, The Best Wingcar Racer In The World. Les....Absolutely amazing! "2" laps, "2" laps. You done us proud. Special thanks to Lenore and company for the tireless job of posting the results for those of us who could not attend.

A little bird tells me that Lenore has about a thousand photographs to go thru all from the Wing Worlds. I know that cause Jim Grinstead and I took at least that many.

In the interest of getting them to her quickly, the 500 or so that I took were unedited, so give her a day or so to sort em out and I'm sure they'll be available.
