If we are adding resistance for a choke whats the difference from using a coil wire than a resistive pot?


How does length of wire effect the frequency change?

what frequencies are the motors running at?

would a frequency modulator work?

or small step down tranformers?

Macgyver told me I could use a smalle speaker as a choke?

...but much more expensive, I'd think.

The resistive pot would really be a high-current power rheostat, capable of handling surges of 40+ amps. I don't even know if you can find one in the milliohm range, which is what you'd need to make it comparable to a wire wound choke.
