    Dorkiest 4-inch body alive!

Ladies and gentlemen, the P/T Cruiser body is no more. Apparently, people were only buying them to race in my annual Enduro.

Now, I am looking for suggestions for a similarly dorky body, and I ask for your help.

    Here are the parameters:

    1. Must be still in production and readily available through regular supply chains to all slot car tracks, at least until November.

    2. Must retail for less than US$7.00,

    3. Must fit on 4-inch chassis.

    4. Must be a slap in the face to all Nascar fans, speed crazed morons, anal-retentive retro dweebs, and anyone else who might be humor-impaired, irony-deficient, or a defender of what I laughingly refer to as good taste and common decency.

If your suggestion is selected you will win some prize reflecting your genius.

    We have two suggestions already:

    A. Super trucks (which i like a lot, but don't know if the geniuses at JK still make them).

    B. Go Carts (which said geniuses have already discontinued).

Good bless you and God Luck,

    Durl

Mr. Durl, may I call you Big?

Check out the JK Chevy HHR body. PCH has some. I drive a 1:1 HHR for work so I mean't to order one with my last order but forgot. Check with JK. I'm sure he'd produce them if there's demand. They look real cool.

    Thanks, dudes.

Steve, JK pulled the plug on the HHR when they did it to the P/T.

BRM, I love those super trucks, and unless I can find something "better", those'll be the rides of this year's Enduro.

Does anybody still make those Volvo station wagon bodies? Those are kinda dorky.

    Big Ol' Durl,

According to the words on his site, there might be a body out there for you.

It's big, it's top heavy, it's not something you see at most slot car tracks.

It's currently available and can be ordered by all slot car shops.

The body fits all 4 inch slot racing chassis.

Here's a link to where more info about ordering it can be found.

    backintheslot,

Well, I think you have a winner!

As I looked at those bodies, all I could envision was Bill Engval talking about catching the "Dork Fish".

Yeah, I was kinda 'fraid that would be the case. How 'bout back pouring and making your own mold? One of my buddies has started experimenting with vac forming bodies and is having good results. Or, maybe JK will part with the P/T and HHR molds. Perhaps Dominick would be willing to pull some. He's been doing some great vintage bodies.

    Thumbs up

    Ooooooooooooooooooo!

Babe, those are some supremely dorky cars. And Parma makes them, too. I don't think ANYbody out here has seen them, either, so that makes them pretty good contenders. They're actually so weird, they're almost seeming cool in a strange way. Plus, I like the way they try to make flexi front wheels look like some kind of open wheel thing.

Okay, BITS and FLSlottr, your entry has moved to to the top of the pile, at very least tied with the Super Truck.

    Any other contestants?

Me thinks the Super Trucks fit on a frame longer than 4".They may fit but you may want to check first. They were originally sold on a Longer Millenium type chassis with extra wide tires.
