A lot of people have asked me, how did you let Richard beat you? I didn't let him do anything. The reason Richard beat me is because he and Beuf out worked us!
There race prep and attention to details made all the difference. Not to mention that Richards driving was on!!
I love that Rich has joined my favorite class of racing and look forward to some future battles. He will help us raise the bar.
In closing, I have had another year of great racing, having won most of the races I have entered and setting some WR along the way. If I could sign a guarantee to have the same kind of year and finish second at the nats again, I would sign it!
PS Richard and Beuf helped make this one of the funnest nats, I have been to in years! Thanks!
PSS I came this close to getting that plaque, but Rich held on with both hands.
