    The distributer asks the client what shore 0 durometer they prefer and he does his best to get a sheet of that duro. They get water jet and shipped as donuts to the company to mount and grind.

    Cut? As in water jet cut? YES:

    Common CURRENT practice for 'fish' and modern donuts for RC and 1/24 commercial slot cars is to use a CNC water jet cut of the cured foam loaves. Older SBR rubber was often die cut by a punch process.

    Virtually no waste now and no pads to kneel on at the track.
