George is on FIRE!!!
Great job George!
How Sweet It Is!!!!!
I am shocked that George's car is Orange- what's up with that?
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do." - Steve Jobs 1955-2011
Two possibilities: 1) He was really fond of late sixties MacLarens, or 2) Been spending too much time around Radisich. If they get to be orange and silver, we'll know ;-)
A clean slotcar is a happy slotcar!!
Congrats George!!!!
Look at George's 1/24 winner... Orange and Silver! Masked better than Chris of course... Gawd, am I getting to be psychic?

Awesome George!!!

Congrats George, you were the class of the field, although Herman was right there with you all the way, but I got lucky!
Once again thanks to Brian Saunders for a great 32nd car. Had a few problems getting it tight enough in practice, but some tape soon fixed that problem. The motor I ran was a Camen Small block 18 mag setup with a BOW 95 arm. The motor was intended for my 24th car, but after a few problems in practice that one went in at the last minute. Took some work to find a choke/controller setting to tame it, but once I did it was great, and certainly had plenty of straight line speed.
As far as I know George has run Orange bodies for a long time, probably longer than me, but it seems he has way more time on his hands to mask and paint bodies, unlike me who was in the parking lot at Chick's every day spraying bodies with an almost dead can of silver and lots of orange. I will say the orange George used this year was a much brighter orange than the one I used, so the cars did not look exactly alike on the track.
If I'm racing it it probably came from or was built by:
Best 'O' The West - B Slotcar - R-Geo Products - Cars by Crash - BOW Cobalt - 3rd Eye Technology
Yes, it's my slotcar site, and I know it needs updating. 1 Lap Short
