Sorry guys i fat fingered the keyboard it should be MRRA Race#3 Skidmarks
Retro Racers.
Could the Michigan Retro Racing Association Series Race Number 3 at Skidmark's be the fastest Retro Race EVER. Could be !!!
During some impromptu testing at Skidmarks today, before the spray glue wing racing, an IRRA legal Retro Can-Am car driven by me, Greg VanPeenen, ran several laps faster then 4 seconds flat. The best being 3.897. There were a few other cars that ran in the 3,9's and 4.0's. If Cap Henry would have driven my car It would have been even faster. Cap is always faster with my cars then I am and so is Big Mike. Well to be truthful almost everyone is faster with my cars then I am:angry::laugh2:
Larry Langdon :wizard:has promised to have the hi speed Gerding King Track prepared perfectly for the Race. Hopefully we can have a test and tune on Saturday before the Sunday race. Stay tuned for info on that. If you are a serous Retro Racer YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS RACE!!!!
Another great happening at Skidmarks today was that SPOVE was in the house. It was great to see The Spove man up and around. He looked good and even did a few hot laps and some superb race directing. It was great to hear that voice on the PA keeping the racers in line. Great to see him making his first steps back to the sport he loves. You rock, Spove.
Are 3.7's possible with a Can-Am Car. Will a Retro-Pro car do a 2.9. If you think you Retro Stuff is some Hot S**t come and prove it.

the voltage seems to be everyones issue it will be set at the 13.6-13.8v range and not a tenth higher or lower just so it disent start a ruckus greg did that lap on 14.2v but from testing at my track I've consistantly went faster on lower power. Hope to see everyone at skidmarks in three weeks.
