Question wondering about any "NOS" availability...

Hi there, the subject of shunted brushes came up, & the current UN-availability of Motor brushes that used to come w/ the shuntwire premolded into the brush itself. It was mentioned that you may have access to some of these?? IF so, are any for sale? I miss those Stuebe barbed guideflags also, any chance of them being around?....

    Slight correction...

It was me who mentioned in another thread that Lee Gilbert used to market the shunted brushes... but I said I knew of someone who claimed to have boxes full of them in his garage... and it's wasn't Lee...

Lee might still have some still stashed in his garage as well, however (if he can find them!).

Be patient for Lee's reply - he doesn't logon to OWH every day.

Lee Gilbert shunted motor brushes were a product of the 70s. The current brushes we use today are much better than the brushes in the 70s. Speedshop uses Koford "Big Foot II" motor brushes in all it's motors today.
