Can anyone approximate a value? I recognize that the Adam MK1 is the holy grail of slot cars, but it seems I can't get an accurate gauge of value. Here is a link to my photos. Please feel free to comment. Thank You.

Are you auctioning this chassis seperately, and if so , where. I don't think any of the bodies shown, went with the MK1, and I can't say that is the correct box since it has no label. Can't remember the value of those already auctioned!
Raced these in England during tour with Air Force. Also raced them in San Bernardino in 1964. This is the Original Box. The last 11 photos are of the Adam & Sons that will be put on an Ebay auction. Will post here when I start the Auction. The remaining items are to be sold in a lot sale Auction on Ebay simultaneously. Included in the Lot sale are the remaining vintage chassis and parts, wheels, axles, etc.
Auction started. To view:

Hi,
Just noticed this thread, and sorry to see that your Quad didn't make reserve - very surprising that! For what it's worth, I bought a similar one on ebay about 10 years ago for $790, including two Cheetah bodies, but without the box. I think the boxed one went for about $900 or a little less...
It is indeed a holy grail, but not as familiar as a Cox Chappy 2E, for instance, so doesn't seem to have the same collector value.
Since you're the only person I've heard of who actually ran one of these things at the time, do you remember how competitive they were, if at all? I ran mine in a vintage race shortly after acquiring it, and it was moderately competitive, but mostly because the motor was a rocketship, even 40 years later, and because it was heavy enough to stay on in the turns...! The steering and suspension mostly seemed to cause problems, and I didn't want to put a "modern" allen head set screw in the gear .. so the gear with the regular set screw kept working loose under the motor's torque!
